Hello I’m new to this website but I am about to sell all my smaller tanks and jump into a 130 gallon tank. I don’t really know what to stock as I have to have a jag cichlid and maybe a temporary largemouth bass as I live in Texas and they are easy to catch small here. I am open to most any predatory fish that I can but don’t have to feed live foods. I have to get a jag cichlid but besides that I would love some suggestions on fish that could work with one of those! :)

Rehome the jag and we can talk stocking the tank. The 130 can barely hold an adult jag
Yeah I just really love jag cichlids and would love to have one in my tank I’ve seen plenty of people house them in 125 gallon tanks and them be perfectly healthy. But what do you suggest I stock in my tank if I don’t have a jag

I have a 240g with a jack D , starry night cichlid, 3 jurupari with my 9 bichirs. I have 2 dats and a couple firemouths growing out in my 125 that will be joining them.

Yeah I was thinking about getting a green terror and a Oscar or two then some other things around like bichirs but then again I want something a little more carnivorous

I have kind of been looking towards getting some bichirs and maybe some bigger cichlids to roam around the top of the tank. I'm torn though on either doing that and going with medium to bigger cichlids or going smaller and getting some geos and things like that. Any suggestions?
