I can't PM yet so I'll have to ask you questions here about the Ultima II 2000. See below. THX

1. Was the filter functional prior to you putting it away?
2. Is the media still inside?
3. Was it back washed clean before you put it away?
4. Is that silicone I see between the valve and valve body?
5. Is the valve not sitting flush to the valve body?

1. Filter was functional prior it was put away
2. Media is still inside
3. Filter was backwashed, can’t say for certain if it’s cleaned
4. Not sure if it’s silicone or lube. It’s been there since I bought the filter - bought it used off Craigslist
5. Valve sit flush.
