What arowana it is?

Looks like a what we call a yellow tail aro over here, closely related to the green aro. For the aros without a gold ring on the scales, they are either green, yellow tail or red tail/banjar red.
If they have Malaysian golden ancestry, there will be at least a gold lining on the scales. Higher grade will have more gold.
Indonesian red aros will have red lining on scales, higher reds like super red or chilli red will have more.

Hi thank you...that was very informative.

Looks like Malaysian gold xback mostly but could be mixed with some green in there. Some confuse banjar breed with the yellowtail because in Singapore the yellowtail was sold as a Grade 2 banjar..but when it grows up, there's no red! In Borneo some people call it "PINO" ARO too.

Hi,

So this is what we call in Asia, TKL. Which means random.

It could be banjar or red2...
You dont know what it is going to be.
TKL do not have tags or certs, they are sold at around $40 SGD each in singapore.Caught in rivers usually, cheaply sold abroad to people who mistaken it as a high price and valued Asian Arowana.

TKL is a random mix, of breeding that turns out to be anything, hopefully it turns into a banjar high red.
I currently just bought my 3 pcs of TKL.

edit: Just found out it is 100% TKL, mixed random asian arowana, double checked with two farms and myself (arowana keeper).
