15 November update of them dragons.

The super red still wouldn't take anything other than insects and macrobrachium shrimp, hence I am not yet planning to shift him to the pond, even though it's almost 11" now.

After going through most of this thread and watching almost all the videos in succession I can’t help myself but to smile through most of the videos just watching their growth and how they have developed. Very fun to see. Can’t wait to see how the red develops in all the natural tanning that will happen in the pond.

Thank you.

I too can't wait to release the red to the pond, but i haven't been successful yet in getting him to eat other foods, so gonna be delaying his release to the pond by a month or two, Feb is the current target date, by then winter would've passed too.

what does winter look like in India? Lots of rain and lower temps, or would you ever get snow?
Nothing as drastic and dire as you experience.

Just lower temps at night, the mornings are bright enough that we got piping hot water in the solar water heater.

Dawn would be 15-17 deg celcius, nights would go as much as 12-14 deg celcius.

Tropical country, and southern India is equatorial region

More like a cold summer of yours
