also i have a realy nice black orchid male betta and considerd him but the whole reason i got this tank was to breed feeders for my futture jag cichlids . I dont know you guys just telll what would be best some guppies or transfer my betta
10g not going to give you many feeders. Sounds like you are not really looking for feeders though.
All rams or apistos would work in a 10 gallon, but you would have to scape it well.
IMO the space between rocks will not get enough current and will accumulate detritus over time.
I have a guppy/ghost shrimp tank and it’s awesome. They breed easy and provide a lot of feeders and its a nice tank with a lot of activity .
Tank looks good but also looks like it would be very difficult to keep clean in long run, impossible to get down into there and vac. You could probably keep a pair of small apistos if you wanted, but if the goal is just to breed feeders for your other fish, I might go with some platies. Easy and will reproduce steadily, though not very quickly. Won't get a ton of feeders from a small colony in a 10g though.
