Ive bought this trio as C. Alta but im having my doubts on then. They look more like C. Lepidota to me. Anyone that can help me out.

I agree. They appear to be Alta. They look fantastic by the way.
Well thanks. They are amazing. Hopefully the pair in the trio will spawn soon. Ghe female is in full spawningsuit and round as an football over its belly right now. The male starting to colour up for spawning and digging under the driftwood has started.

Excellent. Keep us all updated. I love the greenish sheen on the gill covers.

Will do will do. Just came back from my fishroom and it actually looks like there is eggs on the bottom off the driftwood. Didnt have my phone with me so i will document it tomorrow. The rounder female is a little beat up and not as round as she was earlier today. The male fends of both females so i will try to seperate them tomorrow eith an divider.
