Dunno. Something about not shocking the fish or something ? but since most recommend around 20%-30% wc anyway it doesn't really matter ?

i have been doing 80-90% water change on my rays since they were 2 months old.... now they are 2 years old..... lucky me i guess

fishhead0103666 fishhead0103666 see what you have done... you can go talk to him
Ok I did get him off track a bit and for that I apologize.
Bud, you misunderstood what I had meant by that. I meant if you started off at 50% weekly water changes then kept it up and increased it by 10% every now and then you could get your fish used to doing water changes around 80% or 90% even. You should start off with 50% water changes I'd say.

I gotta say I idkjardiniagressive? I rather like talking to you, it's enjoyable even.
Well I'm gonna head out now, I have stuff to do. I'll leave this to the others. Have a good one everyone.

Rays being rays, I guess that even with 10% of the water remaining they're still fully submerged ?

Prior to my aro I used to drain water until the fins of my fish touch both the substrate and the water surface. them being large angels meant that it was around 80-85% (according to my super accurate eyeballing)

Also: was told not to feed the fish on water change days. but this one I don't adhere to.

And about the people here: they know what they are talking about but if you listen to all of them you'll have an olympic pool sized tank and a tool shed sized sump ??? j/k of course
