220 Dual Overflow Bean Animal Confusion

I recently set up my 220 dual overflow and went a bit extreme with the placement of my fluidized barrels... i noticed the full siphon is supposed to be on the gatevalve but it seems to leak everywhere when I put it on it so I switched the two, is this the reason the durso has very consistent gurgling noises? I sat below the tank for 3 hours last night playing with valves attempting to find the quiet spot which I never achieved. Is it possible I need to run all 4 bulkheads as drains? The pump is a pondmaster proline 6600, possibly need a manifold as it is going to be used for other projects as well. I hope the plenty of pics will help! Tank is quite cloudy due to the stir up in a dusty room in the basement.

If I understand, the part about the full siphon and the gate valve is your problem.
The main line should be a full siphon with just a slight trickle of water going into the overflow line.
Why would the main line be leaking with the gate valve?

Way too much water flowing with that monster pump, even through a full siphon through that 1" factory drain line.

Is it possible the valve leaks when the full siphon is on it due to the pressure?

Does the valve have an adjustable packing? Is it leaking around the stem? Can you tighten the packing around the stem?

on my 240g I have 1.5" drains and a pump that's about half your gph. i think that is your biggest issue. I would either get a smaller pump or make a manifold / return line off your pump back into the filter to relieve some of the flow and it should quite down.

It could be the pressure. Is the main line capable of handling the entire flow of the return ?
I’m agreeing with the other posts you may need to use bigger pipe or lower the return volume

I replaced the gate valve and am going to add a manifold, I'd like to run another tank or 2 off of the some fluidized bed possibly using the same pump. What is the target overturn rate for fluidized? I believe its 3-4x?
