900 gallon custom tank material

I am getting ready to begin my build as well and the concrete floor in my basement is a bit level as well. I plan on using self leveling concrete to get a level surface before I start.
That’s what I did for my 750 it worked great I framed the area with 2x4s and then poured the leveler. I would suggest making it a tad more watery than it calls for so it flows better.

Can i not just use some type of fiberglass board instead of plywood? It would make alot less work for me as i would only have to fiberglass the joints. Does anyone have experience with this?

Why don't you just buy one of those premade fiberglass tanks then?
Or make an acrylic tank?
What kind of fiberglass board are you talking about?

Because i need a custom size and i dont like acrylic. I dont know i just assumed you can get fiberglass panels rather than make your own

I would suppose that its possible there are fiberglass pannels, but ive never seen them or seen a tank made from them. I would stick with plywood or the premade fiberglass ones from Pentair.

Can anyone recommend some good quality bulkheads? Need them 2". I also want to use a pool skimmer box for my overflow. Has anyone seen this done?

Heres the progress if anyone cares. Im really kicking myself for not using PL on the bottom layer of 2x4 to prevent it kicking out in the slightest since regular screws have poor sheer strength. To compinsate id like to add a lag bolt on an angle in the middle of each wall through the bottom 2 2x4s and into the plywood and 2x8 joists. Open to other suggestions..

The openings on the sides will be for bulkheads

Kind of bothers me having to chip so much out of the 2x4 to get the bolt in. Id say im only cutting into it about 3/4" but it still bothers me. Ill probably fill the void with glue when i put the plywood on
