Jaguar cichlid male in 125 gallon? Would it work?

Hello, I currently have a 12 inch male jaguar cichlid in a 180 gallon tank, and he doesn't allow any tankmates unless they virtually dont move lol I've tried several fish and never works out, anyways I have a spare 125 gallon 72x18x22 that I was thinking of moving him to so he could live alone like he prefers, wondering if this tank size could work if I dont plan on adding any other fish?

Yes the 125 will be fine.

thanks hes about 3-4 years old, I dont expect him to grow larger than 14 inch, and he eats northfin cichlid pellets
