If you can get rooibos tea in bulk that's also a great addition. Fynbos makes a rusty red colour in the mountains, like so:

Wow that is amazing really good camouflage! Also thats a really cool color for the water, this is safe for all aquariums just like oak leaves and others? Also you said bulk is there a place that sells for cheaper in bulk that you know of?

Yes, that's it. You could add straight, or you can boil for a while and add the extract. I'd experiment a bit on an empty tank to play with the concentration first!

Oh very cool! I found some on different places on the internet. Some very cheap like $10 per pound. Not certain about quality though, is it better to use fresh Rooibos?

Dried is probably better. Price sounds good though

It's very popular for it's health benefits, it also doesn't contain caffeine. One of the wonders of fynbos
