Right size tank for crazy tanks tocking

So I wanted to know... O_O how many gallons would it take to hold all of these? Ignore my price assumptions:


  • MAYBE Black Arowana (1) ($180)
    Geophagas sveni (5)
  • Zebra pike (3)($1000)
  • Black Ghost Knife (5) ($150)
  • Pelican Knife (1)
  • Uaru (5)
  • Panda Uaru (3)
  • Red serverum (2)
  • Blue Discus Heckel/ Red Discus (7)($1100)
  • Green SDs (5) ($400) or (Striped SD)

  • Amazon puffers (6 - 7) ($120)

    so I was thinking... would this work better n a 500 gallon setup? Maybe more maybe not? Don’t get fired up at me cause “No” I have not started and probably won’t for afew years :(... wanted to get a 500 gallon palladium. Idk lol maybe one day... I know the puffer mite eat some tetras and nip fins... and there are a lot more problems but someone has to wanna try

Zebrina will kill the discus and sveni over time. I’ve tried atleast 30 sveni total 3 separate times never worked out. Also the apistos won’t last, but you could prob get away with all this in a 500 tbh imo

If they eat apistos I won’t feel too bad... but imma add realistic looking caves so they can breed ? Will the zebra pike really kill the discus even if I fed and added him at like a 3inch size while all the other fish were adult... you know the rare but sometiems work cichlid comparability trick... sometimes works

A lot of that list will get eaten, or at least stressed to the point of disease outbreaks.

Who would cause the stress the zebrini? I could just aim for a bigger tank
 
The knife fish and aro would predate on the tetra and probably the apisto. The knifes will also be active at night and would probably stress the discus. The hatchet would also be snacks. The puffers will most likely take chunks out of other fish too. The list goes on.
It just would not work.

Are probabaly won’t... since it will be palladium it will likely not... maybe the hatchets... wasent sure about the knifes... mite just go with 3 trumpet knifes instead then... only real issue are the zebras attacking other fish... and the puffers biting other fish
