These are common at the dam down the road and i've kept juveniles a few times.
They are arguably the fastest & most active (read: utterly manic) fish i've ever seen or seen on video, let along kept. Dialled up to 11 all day, everyday. Really (really) good fun.
The pectoral fins are mounted hight & rigid like a Eurofighter's canard, so they turn at full speed & unnervingly quickly. Feeding time is a soak. Really (really) good fun.
