My small white one is fully white now, and the large white and orange one has developed quite a bit of black. Red and yellow guys look the same. One of the unfaded siblings has just started to fade as of a couple days ago.

Here's that same fish from December. Hard to tell but she's peachy colored with some white in the dorsal area. Assumed female.

Thanks man. Added some ABS pipe and some pots today, hoping to start to see some pairing soon. They're about that size.
Those look nice, I really like the red male. He would look great at 20"! Do you plan on hanging onto a couple of these long term?
Plan is to keep a pair in the tank. It's an 8' 400 gallon tank so it should work for them all for a while longer before I have to thin. Most people seem to like the red guy, I really like the white and orange one.
A guy locally bought a pair and bred them. They hatched in late May 2019 I think? So still less than a year old.
