My new high back golden arowana

Hi Guys,

So I got a High Back Golden Aro yesterday. She really is a beauty.
What I really love and didn't expect - she ate hikari carnisticks at the first feeding! (she is still small about 13 - 15cm, can only take one stick at a time and chew before swallowing). It was surprising because the store was only feeding her live danios and tetras.

Tried to give her shrimp too, and she didn't seem keen (maybe already full from Hikari) but hoping to get her onto that this weekend for growth rate and colour. Usually it is the other way around haha.

Just curious as to the growth rate you guys have experienced on your asian arowanas?

if its on pellets, thats a plus. I would recommend trying Ocean Free AR-G1 for growth and AR-G2 for color

Thanks. Sadly none of the stores here stock these (that I could find and went too at least.).

He only ate the Hikari sticks this weekend, went for the shrimp once and then spat it out. He kind of swims towards it before loosing interest. Not interested in shrimp at all.
