Repashy meat pie for oscars?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was a vendor of Repashy for a few years when they first came on the scene. While my pair would eat the mixtures I made for their tank mates I wouldn’t use that as their primary diet and personally would only add it into a rotation and focus on pellets such as Northfin or NLS as their primary source of nutrition. Here is my pair.

It's not good to feed them terrestrial based meat products other then bugs I guess. Beef heart and chicken are not good for fish. I believe that meat pie is designed for reptiles like monitors. I'd stick with another grub pie or a veg based one. Most of what Oscars eat in the wild have vegetable matter in their gut contents.

The only repashy food I've used is the meat pie for reptiles. Never seen the fish one. My monitors didn't like the repashy but both would eat canned cat food no problem. I only fed that as a treat anyway. Mostly bugs and mice.
