I personally never heard of anyone treating aquarium for snails with any Stingray specie and wouldn't risk it. I would place lettuce in the aquarium and remove snails that way.
These are only 1-2mm in size in the tank ,not seen any full size snails so must be in my sump ,plus any fish under 10" in size my one female ray will kill it .
Try the Lettuce method to collect them in the morning the lettuce should be covered with snails.
What kind of snails?

Copper is the go to snail killer, don't know if rays are sensitive. Otherwise siphoning any food scraps is a good way to control snails, in tanks where there is no leftover food snails struggle to take hold, this is purely based on my own experience though.
Yes Ray's and Sharks are sensitive to Copper.
Agree dont put copper in a ray tank as thry cant handle it. The best way to treat your tank if to remove the rays and treat the tank then multiple large watercahnges before adding the rays again
Snails are a good indication of tank conditions. You are feeding to much or to much food is going to waste. Why are you hating on the snails? They perform a excellent essential job, clean up crew. They will in no way harm your fish.
