I find that a single fx6 on a 75 doesn't make that much flow, I'm considering putting a second one on my 75 that has one already.
If your tests result in non- detects for ammonia and nitrite, then the amount of bio-media you now have is sufficient.Dont know if i should stock the fx6 up to full trays or biological media or not, currently im running it with what it comes with which isnt alot... lol
Why not save some money and buy a powerhead?I find that a single fx6 on a 75 doesn't make that much flow, I'm considering putting a second one on my 75 that has one already.
Thing is that I had a fx6 hidden away in a closet that I found recently, I don't remember when I got it but I have it and I might as well put it on a tank if only to establish it for another tank. Why not save some money and buy a powerhead?
Oh yeah, well if that is the case, put it on!Thing is that I had a fx6 hidden away in a closet that I found recently, I don't remember when I got it but I have it and I might as well put it on a tank if only to establish it for another tank.
Not everyone is able to have a sump or is confident enough to have one or it just won't work with their plans. I know I'm not able to nor ready to get a sump. Not to mention if your going to spend that much money on filtration, you could easily create a sump that's more effective and more functional for a fraction of the cost.
