What's in the box?

Very nice choice, are these going to be part of a convict paradise part 2 setup? Is the plan to keep the lot as a community or get a pair and rehome the rest?
I really like this and would keep them myself but they are another illegal/unavailable fish here in Australia.
I am hopeful that I can keep them all in the 6ft 125. Everything I have heard about them is they are really mellow. I will have enough other fish to consume the fry and keep everyone happy and breeding not killing each other.
Was just watching them and I see three ladies so far. Dark blotch in the dorsal.

The middle two are males, outside two females see the dorsal blotches.

What else will be with them??

Stocking will be:

16 Bleeding heart tetras
11 Black neon tetras
7 Roseline sharks
10 Reticulated Julii Cory's
1 Bushynose pleco
1 Pink tailed Chalceus
6 Nanolutea

Had to move my Ornatus catfish to the 20gal due to possible eating of Nanolutea
Moved the Neons over to balance bioload.
When Nanos grow out I might move back or rehome not sure.

Here are a couple close ups of some adults.

Although I have heard the monicker yellow convict, to me it does not really apply, because they are much more mellow in comparison, and do not fair well with more aggressive tank mates, the kind that convicts easily shrugg off.
I grew mine out to about 3" in a 75 gal, then moved them to a 6ft tank.

I heard your warning about them needing to be solo cichlids and they shall be. Just the six Nanolutea are the only planned cichlids. Tho I know all the planned stocking ain't bio correct they all meet my water peramaters and should do great. I have more branches coming and going to get more rocks for hidey holes, etc.
