I’m not saying that there’s not someone calling them a pigeon blood oscar.
I’m saying that it’s probably just a name that the seller is placing on an Oscar that has already existed just under a different name.
My guess is they are renaming a Red Oscar.
But, there’s new things found and developed every day.
I reached the point of sensory overload a while ago with all the fanciful names for novel strains of various species. Dragon this, sunshine that, and eruption the other... for a certain type of person it might be fun to think them up... I suppose I could amuse myself thinking what I'd call it if I found an extra barred, red/orange mutated kapampa gibberosa fry in my tank one day; I could call it a dragon blooded, melon-headed, interference patterned, scowl faced cyp eater.
