Hi everybody I have a community 125 gallon Cichlid tank. One of my females seems to have eggs in her mouth and I was wondering if she could raise fry in a community tank or for any chance of the fry surviving I need to remove her

I am not sure. There are a bunch of different African cichlids In the tank, but they are all around the same size. She is a blue zebra and out of my 18 cichlids she is the only one with eggs!

Yes a 10 gallon will be fine. You can leave the female in the aquarium until the fry become free swimming and feed fry with crushed fine food that you feed the adult African Mbuna.
What should I put for the substrate?

Do you want to save the fry? Good chance they are hybrids and you may need to provide a separate tank for them in your home for their 8-year life expectancy.

Another alternative is to let the mom spit the fry naturally in the tank. And if you DO want to save fry at some time in the future, you could consider changing the stock in your main tank to reduce or eliminate the chance of hybrids.

Is it okay if I do keep the hybrid babies? I am okay with them
