Do you use a heater?

So I have 2 aquariums running at the moment and only have 2 heater (others broke or malfunction). Just got 10 new angels and moved the largest 3 to the big tank with my bichir. Waiting for the smaller ones to grow larger in quarantine tank since they would be polypterus snack lol. Was wondering if putting them in the big tank without a heater will be a problem or not. I live in NJ and it’s summer so the temp outside is around 80-90 degrees F. Want to hear your thoughts on using heaters, the most reliable heaters to buy, and if for a few months they would be fine.

I think you’d be fine in New Jersey for the early summer.

When I lived in Wisconsin, I would unplug almost all heaters mid May thru the end of Sept.
Except for certain fish that needed extra high temps (Nandopsis haitiensus, and Alcolapia alcalicus) others were fine without heaters during those months.

Room temps you should be fine I mean IV got a 100 watt heater 14.95 amazon job it works fine it's bullet proof glass lol clearly not but it's toughened glass though I no that because I dropped it works fine ?

We have crappy choices in brands for aquarium supplies in Jersey. I have fluval and eheim heaters that are pretty good and tough and you can get them at petcant or pet stupid stores.

In the UK ie we have loads garden centers ie fish stores we have loads fluvals on sail u can pick up 306 pretty cheap

Currently not using heaters because my garage temp averages 75-80 F, and indoors 70-72. I'll plug them in once the nights start cooling down.

Nothing wrong with adjusting to the seasons in the winter I be turn up my heater just tad ?
