Catch location water parameters may be the more important issue than name semantics.
And if it is really wild caught, (or F1)adhering to somewhat close to natural water parameters might help determine long term health.
The area mentioned in Brazil has quite mineral poor waters (low water hardness) low to neutral pH range, ( 4-7 ) depending on the season, and is seasonally inundated with tannins.
If your (the OPs) water is hard and pH well above 7, cutting water change water with rain water, RO or DI might be advisable.
If the OPs water is soft and metal poor (no problem), but adding tannins from soaked leaf litter might also help either way.
When I lived in Wisconsin and had mineral rich (250ppm) , pH 7.8+ water, catching low hardness water in rain barrels was an integral part of my set up
for these soft water/seasonal black water species.
I would collect leaf litter and soak in therain water to add with water changes, and put leaves directly in tanks.
