In Aus we have gumtree as a local online classifieds, I sent someone a message that was wanting to buy koi carp where they are declared noxious pests. I also found and messaged a guy selling mosquito fish as natives, another noxious fish.
Then you get the people who buy fish from a lfs keep them for a year then double the lfs prices.

That's pretty crazy, I have seen Aus does have pricier LFS fish. I've also seen some invasive stuff on the local gumtree here.

The funny thing is I've seen an empty 75 with a metal stand go for anywhere from $40 to $200. I laugh at those who try and resell for original value

A lot of tanks I see here actually surpass original value. I see 55 gallon set ups that cost $200 with stand at petsmart go for $450-600 here. Its insane to say the least.

Cruising the local FB market place and I saw a "custom" 55g tank with white pine stand and sliding doors for $600... trying to cover just the hardware costs. Hahah
