Sulfur Filter Media where to buy

Like the title says I'm looking to add a sulfur denitrator but I am unable to fine media for it. Why is it so hard. Can I use any sulfur that is 99.9 pure?

Thanks for the suggestion but unless it dose not show up when you search Sulfur they don't have any. I think I found some From marine depot they had it listed under the reactor name and only call it media replacement. I might just have to try and use some seachem denitrate in the reactor unless someone one has some better suggestions to get rid of nitrates without water changes FYI i don't want plants too much work and I already have a small remote deep sand bed only about 10x4x5.

You used to be able to get it like kno4te said bulk from brs. I'd try contacting them to see.
I've been dabbling in anoxic filtration ideas. I've built a couple of biocenosis baskets to see how they do. I've mostly put them in small tanks with random bioloads. We will see how they do or don't......
There was a " cult" of biocenosis people that popped up about 3 years ago and I was interested but didn't have time or reason to use it at the time. Everything stopped in 2018 the blog the YouTube posts everything just stopped. I've tried reaching out to some of the people that were followers of this Dr Novak but no one has replied. I would like to inquire on actual longevity as that was never really discussed. Maybe they drank the Kool aid?
