GARth Vader the lord of the fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No not yet, when I first got him I was afraid he was too small for the "eat this or die" approach and I know the longer hes on live the harder it will be to break him, hes been raised on mosquito larva and guppies

My advice is to wait until he's hungry and then feed an injured guppy. Do that for a bit. The goal is for him to associate you with food. You want him to recognise that you are feeding him. That you bring food. That way he is more apt to see something new (pellets) as food - you bring food, so what you put in the tank must be food. I hope that makes sense.

I love the name. When I pellet trained my gar I would wait until he was at the top of the water and I would throw floating pellets at his head. His instinct was to strike at them. After a wile he ate them. Eventually he would target them on hos own.
