I bought 2 red devil cichlids recently and just wanted to see if anyone can verify if they are actually red devils or not

Yes they are red devils.
Since red devil is kind of a catch all term for any number similar colored Amphilophines that originate in the great lakes of Nicaragua, you should accept that that's what they are.
Breaking them down to what actual species of Nicaraguan lake Amphilopine from just from a photo, and buying them from a LFS without a scientific name, and location point, as red devils would be nearly impossible.

I wasn't trying to break it down to a specific species just wanted to verify that they are red devils, would yall recommend doing one large tank for both or 2 separate tanks to house them separately? And any recommendations on any kind of possible tank mates?
But even if they weren't full red devil but instead a pretty much complete hybrid either way i don't mind just wanna know its atleast in that range
Eventually as you probably already know there will a hierarchy among the two Red Devil so just observe them and if one gets too aggressive I suggest separating them..
Tankmates would be non Cichlid species. While they are small try livebearer's with the young Red Devils.
Right now in the quarantine tank theres a few guppies swimming around just to help keep that tank going constantly, the killed a few of them but most are still going with them as well as an albino pleco in with them, what size tank would you say might make it work for them to be together? If there's aggression between them ill separate them, just want to give it a try first
Tbh I will let others chime in I honestly can't answer about what aquarium size.
