Help Diagnose Green Sevrum disease

I just got this fish 3 days ago, when I got home I noticed some discoloration on his body, was swimming and eating well. Today fish looks totally two toned in color, almost a little beat up, but no one has bothered him at all. Still eating well, but looks bad. Fish is in quarantine now, and I took a picture of him and on close up looks like scales are gone. Trying to research but just not sure, any help much appreciated. Could it be columnaris?

Not sure if the beginning but columnaris will have open wound with white fluff looking like fungus. Think add some salt 1 tsp per g and keep the water clean for now.

The severum looks stressed and like you stated the fins are torn new to the aquarium low in rank and was harassed by the dominate tank mates. Unless you are observing the aquarium its very possible a tank mate attacked the severum.

Thanks for response, I haven't seen any white fluff at all. Will definitely try the salt and did do a water change immediately.

No, honestly no bullying, Mostly Geo's in the tank. Fish was a little ruffed up by the young guy at the fish store. He caught and released him, was holding him in the net to show me. So when I got him home and saw the discoloration I thought it was from that, but now it just looks worse.
Been in the hobby over twenty years, so meticulous with my tanks, water changes every week, test everything once a month. My water parameters are so solid. I think the fin tear is from the fish store.

Ok, I have a disaster in my fish room. Anyone have experience with using PimaFix? This was my second time giving that stuff a try, and yes it is confirmed for the second time that PimaFix speeds up death rates in my tanks. It even killed fish that didn’t seem sick. And now one of my 125gal is having global fungus on fins and tails of almost every fish. I saw white stringy poop coming from one of my Gold Tin Foil Barbs. I’m gonna use salt to save my tiger sevrums and super reds. It might be at the expense of the clown loach, and ghost knife. But I can’t put them in my quarantine tank because my bichir and my red pike are in there and looking all healed up. Don’t want to risk getting them sick all over again. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I haven’t had any deaths directly from pimafix. Haven’t used it as it’s not really shown to be effective against infection etc. I’d feed some hex shield and dose some api fungus cure. Hope it gets better.

Thanks for the response. I treated my 20 gallon grow out tank with API Fin and Body after seemingly loosing my Fire Eel and one of my juvenile Red Pike Cichlids , but it save the other Red Pike Cichlid and young Delhezi Bichir. I treated a 125 gallon tank with aquarium salt and frequent water changes. In that tank my Red Shoulder Sevrum looks almost completely healed. My Tiger Sevrums are Completely healed. But the kicker is that now my 2 Super Red Sevrums are ritual dancing and chasing everything away from a corner of a tank that they chose. What do I do now lol?

Thanks for the response. I treated my 20 gallon grow out tank with API Fin and Body after seemingly loosing my Fire Eel and one of my juvenile Red Pike Cichlids , but it save the other Red Pike Cichlid and young Delhezi Bichir. Oh yes, unfortunately I did lose all of my Clown loaches in that tank, but my Black Ghost Knife is doing so well that even in daylight it comes out of hiding and compete with the other fish for food.
