Hey fellas... Question. Can you help me identify this cichlid? I bought it as a Texas Cichlid .. And he looked the part at first but he recently changed colors... He recently bred with my convict ... They have babies and are raising them. Had to buy another tank cause they were gonna murder all their tank mates... Any help or theories would be appreciated! Thanks!!

You can leave them together, parents may eat the fry after a while. If you want to raise the fry you can separate when they have been free swimming for a while and can eat first bites or similar fry food. However, it's much better if you don't try to sell or distribute the babies; last thing the hobby needs is more cichlid hybrids going around.
