This on the rainbow cichlid! Mine is fiesty as hell, very independent and tries to push my acara around (it doesn't work, lol). He rams and intimidates the much larger synodontis catifishes by popping them in the head.

I hear sajicas can be little terrors, too.

They are pretty peaceful for a cichlid, but have a mean side. They will claim dominance is they are the meanest in the tank, but aren’t too aggressive, may nip every once in a while.

Lol mine swims around my Oscar unafraid. But he isn't stupid, he makes sure the O isn't behind him. The only fish that intimidates him is the Parrot.
 
That’s mine with my Silver dollars. Almost always following them and occasionally nipping. Even ignores the krib pair that runs the tank.
Haven’t seen the female krib in a while... I replaced all the decor and they were ready to breed. Still haven’t found the new nest. Well I guess I need a project while my salt tank is in fallow.
