My jaguar cichlid tank

Thank you! Been doing my best to raise her since she was little over an inch in size haha
 
Great looking fish, i can tell she has a great owner! I was wondering what's the temperment of your Jaguar Cichlid, Is it overly aggressive? Is it peaceful? I've been hearing things about them and I love their colors and patterns. I was thinking about buying one.

Thanks a ton! I've done my best so far making sure she's happy.


Temperament wise she's an ass but tolerable with the right fish. She killed a jewel ciclhid dither I put in a year ago, but the convict dither put in at the same time does fine due to its innate nature and cunning attitude. The pleco gets bullied a lot but he slams her back with his armor. All in all she's mean but entertaining and mainly just acts that way for food like a dog. Love her so far and would definitely recommend. She's doing fine in that 55 gall

Yeah those convicts are really hardy. He probably tried to fight the Jaguar Cichlid just like it was a fish his size, lol!
