Yes, it does. But it refers to human feces and was never confirmed in any diet studies. In nature Scatophagus normally feeds on insects, crustaceans, worms and plants.
Just imagine if scats really lived up their name and that was actually all that they ate....I can just see it now,specialized food for scats,containers of human poop flakes on the store shelves.....right next to the New Life Spectrum and Bug Bites!

Same could be said for our native Black and White Crappie.
 
I believe one of the labeobarbus species eats hippo poo.
