125 tanks mates with bichirs

After a catastrophic mistake that the wife made i am gutted and lost my cichlids, so I need suggestions for a 125 center piece fish that can co hab with my bichirs I'm open to suggestions

Sorry for your loss. I have a ST Datnoid with Bichir's. Aquarium is a 180 gallon.

Deadeye im open to cichlids. tlindsey i thought about a datnoid, but, it would be a grow out in a 125. I do plan on upgrading to a 8x4x3 plywood tank but its gonna be a minute before then

In that case I would get something like a jack or Texas.

Check out the Paratilapia species. Look great, don't get to be giants and aren't your average cichlid.

Deadeye i was thinking about a Texas, like a blue escondido, i want something personable and the wife is quite taken by the blue

Had a normal Texas for a short time. Very beautiful, lots of personality, and had quite an attitude. I miss him. When I have extra tank space I definitely want to try for a Escondido blue.

I order most of my fish online and I’ve never had any issues
