Thanks! I doubt any babies will come of it tho, I have a pike cichlid and an Oscar in thereNipping is indicative of breeding behaviour. Give them some spawning mops, F1 fish would be interesting to see![]()
Give them a thick mop, preferably sank to the tank bottom, then you can pull it when it's full of eggs. Thanks! I doubt any babies will come of it tho, I have a pike cichlid and an Oscar in there
What do you mean by mop? Bichir babies would be coolGive them a thick mop, preferably sank to the tank bottom, then you can pull it when it's full of eggs.
Look up fish breeding mops, often used for goldfish and other fish that breed in plant material, such as bichirs. What do you mean by mop? Bichir babies would be cool
Haha, I just did after I asked, I never seen those, but I might try it. Thanks for the tip!Look up fish breeding mops, often used for goldfish and other fish that breed in plant material, such as bichirs.
It’s a 120, I’m not really trying to breed them, but if they do I’ll definitely try to save the young. I had to put the female in a hospital tank today, the male has gotten very aggressive with her and damaged her eyewhat size tank and also I have heard of several breeders that use cheerleading pom poms as spawning mops
