frustration at the fish shop.

So i went to my not so local fish shop to get my brother an aquaclear, and hopefully some new stock for my grow out tank. When I arrived I saw it! A beautiful colored 3 inch blue dolphin! One of my favorite african cichlids, because it reminds me of flowerhorns and such with the head bump. Well as I went to get an employee some guy bought the EXACT same fish I had my eyes one. The only blue dolphin in the store. I've wanted one for a while but whatever. It was also being sold in the mixed hap tank for a bargain price of 15 bucks. has anything like this happened to you guys?

That hasn’t happened to me, but if you’re still interested in a blue dolphin, I know some online sites that have them with reasonable shipping

Happened to me with a like 13 inch pleco. Looking back at it I fully thank them, I bet it didn’t last a week.

The closest that came to happening was when I bought my Endi, i got it on eBay and there were 3 left and I made an offer, when I checked the status of my offer there was one left, so I knew they had no reason to accept my offer and just did a buy it now on the last one

Several times I’ve lost out on fish due to being a few minutes late. Once it was to Backfromthedead Backfromthedead I believe lol.

What an absolutely crummy thing to have happen....going to find an employee to assist you and coming back to the tank to find some jabroni happened along and beat you to the punch on the very fish that you were after.

yup. We also walked across the Brooklyn bridge for an hour to get there at a temp of 32 farenheit!
