20210103_002948.jpg20210103_003028.jpg20210103_002844.jpgLeft my fish for 10 days under the care of my neighbor. Came home tonight to find my Parrot Cichlid (Hoplarchus psittacus) looking like this. I'm hoping it's not columnaris (duck lip), cause I have lost a few fish to that. Any recommendations as to what to use for treating this??

Looks like duck lips. Can try kanamycin and furan2. Lower ur temps to low 70s if able.

If you didn't disinfect the aquarium after the fish had Columnaris then the viral bacteria was still in the aquarium If you just removed the fish. I suggest breaking down the aquarium, filter and disinfect with part bleach and water. Also toss media and substrate.

Yes I agree with the others, looks like Columnaris.
And Agree with tlindsey, if you had this disease (duck lips) previously, you need to totally break down and disinfect the tank before any other fish were added, outside and in, its rim, and everything that came in contact with the water, nets, substrate, plastic tubing, ...... everything..... as thoroughly as if it were Covid.
The bacteria, (its cysts) that cause columnaris can live ( dormant) in a dry spec, or smudge of dirt, or evapoarted calcium stain, and reinfect when and whatever comes in contact with that water.
If it were me, I'd toss old substrate, maybe even filter media "unless" I could submerge it for a week in a bucket of bleach.
