Hi,
I have a 107 gallons tank with 2 Oscars as some of u know. I would be able to upgrade in a couple of months but now a friend of mine gave me the opportunity to change my albino oscar for eather a green terror or 2 fire-mouth cichlids.
So my question to all of you is if this would make sense and maybe give me a bit more time till i have to upgrade or maybe I don‘t have to upgrade anymore? And would you take the gt or the 2 firemouths?

I'd probably try the O and GT combo. It depends on the individual fish as far as how things go.

I've kept my O and green sev together in a 75gal for 8yrs. They've been together since they were babies. The sev shoves the O around most of the time, but it has no effect on either. The O is still always the first to get the food. I feed lightly with quality pellets, keep the water temp on the cooler side and do a weekly fin-level water change.

To be honest the reason why my friend and me want to trade fish is because that theres trouble in the tank. The problem I have now since a couple of days is that my red tiger oscar starts to bully my albino. The albino was attacked a couple of weeks before when I had an additional gt in the tank. I was able to give the gt away and everything went fine and the albinos scares were healing. Now since monday it seems to start again but now the red tiger is the aggressor... I just don t want the albino to die but i m not sure if the other fish are the problem or the albino is just not able to defend himself? My thoughts were that a gt should be able to stand his own on the red tiger... and to save the albino and give him a better life... I‘m angry at my self cause I dont know what to do...

The less aggressive Albino oscar with 2 FM seems to have a higher chance of coexistence than the red tiger with a gt. A 107g isn't that much foot print.
Seems like this would be the best chance, but my friend doesn‘t want to put an agressive oscar in his tank.. which I can understand
So i have to try to sell the red tiger and ask if he can keep the albino for the time it will take...

Seems, in my first months of keeping oscars, I did everything wrong that was possible....

Do the 2 oscars get along?
The last 2 months they did... sometimes little pushing but nothing special
Since monday the red tiger is bullying my albino... biting etc... albino was just hiding under driftwood most of the days... now red tiger is isolated in 50 gallon... think its the best to sell him like rocksor said and keep the friendly one
