Hi All,

please see a series of images from when he arrived until today (last image)

Diet: largely just pellets and algae wafers for pearls - shrimp once or twice a week for a treat. Still feeding twice a day.
Tank: 340 liters (UK)
Temp: 28
Tankmates: Snowball, G Nugget, and a Green Phantom

Show him a fish and he goes nuts, however, with Catfish, he seems pretty chilled out and tolerates them.
Lights on typically around 8-10 hours currently.
Water changes weekly around 40%
Mirror training daily x3 10 min blocks

Images should be in date order taken over a 4 month period. It's really interesting to see his Kok development not just in size, but also in the pearl pattern and also watching the pearls grow across the Kok - which they have now started to do as you can see from the last images.

He looks like a beast. Great job raising him
Thanks man, I do take a lot of effort and time making sure he is happy and healthy. I know he's not a perfect fish, but I feel he is reaching his individual full potential.

This is a very nice fish. You're lucky!
Also that's good to know about the plecos. I have a couple blue phantoms in their own 65 and I was wondering about putting a young flowerhorn in there with them as the tank is really 'bare' with nothing swimming around in the main part of the tank. I've always been too scared to try it. Maybe I'll try it now lol
