I was wondering that oscars need a ph from 4 to 7.5 so can they happily live in Blackwater
With lists of almond leaves wood work and muddy colour sand
What type of filter would that tank need sponge or mechanical

6.5 to 7.2 would be great for a Oscar. Lower than 6.5 may be too low. They will be ok in tannins. The Almond leaves and muddy colored sand will be fine.

I would suggest a mechanical filter but filter maintenance and proper wc's will be needed.
Thank u tlindsey waht about leaves will the go on lowering the ph or stop at certain point I know they have to be change once a month

As I live in India Indian almond leaves are so easy to collect while passing by
