I was discussing this with some guys in the fishing forum, and I found this in regards to my odd catches from over 10 years ago....as I mentioned, the ecosystem sustains catches of a mixed species bag consisting of but not limited to Largemouth Bass, Channel catfish, Spotted/Longnose Gar, Atlantic Stingrays, Bluegills/Panfish, Eels, Bowfins, etc.......all from the exact same spots.

It's just a start, but I'd like to find more info on this.....anyone here in NE FL to Central Florida?

I have personally seen them while snorkeling in crystal clear rivers fed from the springs in central Florida. Pretty cool sight to see.
