My oscar is poop floats it is color brown not white and stringy. I never seen this before. It is natural or he is sick? I am feeding him hikari cichlid staple and hikari bio gold. With treats dubia roach and black soldier larvae.

The only time I really worry about fish poo is if it’s white/translucent and threadlike. Other than that, I think you’re good

I think the floating is due to the roaches.....are their wings removed prior to feeding them to your fish?

Fish poop will float, depending on what they fish eat. I've had fish poop float when being fed pieces of salmon or krill. It's either the dubia roaches or the black soldier larvae causing the poop to float.
