Honey gourami with endlers

I have a 10 gallon standard planted tank. I want to breed fish but have a centerpiece fish. Can I keep endlers and a honey gourami together.

It should work.

They would be fine. Gourami may pick off some of the fry and smaller ones, but you’ll have hundreds of endlers in a few weeks anyway.

Could any other fish be added. Maybe smaller schooling fish?

Every new fish will threaten the endler population growth rate. Small tetras would be fine though. Not much cause 10 isn’t much space.

I agree with Deadeye, if you want fish to breed, and keep fry alive, the tank shouldn't contain any other species of fish
