New vieja from TUIC - progression thread

Great little fish. I was just on tuic looking to see what he had for vieja now exactly what i am looking for. I have other grow out currently from there i have been getting cichlids there for many years.

biguebs your Melanura is starting to get some nice color coming in. I have noticed with mine that when I feed a higher protein pellet that he/she starts to turn more black. When I feed a higher veggie diet I see a lot more color. Mine is eating New Life Spectrum Algaemax like a beast and he/she's colors are glowing.

Thanks - mine is also on a NLS algaemax based diet. Also offering a couple other varieties but algaemax is definitely preferred.
