They don't seem overly aggressive and although they have teeth, they don't seem big enough to be comparable to an ATF or payara and seem to play well in specie groupsNo knowledge or experience with them, sorry.

In all honesty, the bigger variable is whatever is added into the tank. The jar has yet to be openly aggressive and start problems. The oscar and the jar go at it only when the oscar starts something or spits sand at the jar when its swimming past.Hard to say if it’ll work out. The jars tempermentay not allow it to work. Jardini may not like another fish in same swimming zone. Since it goes after ur Oscar.
They would "work" but not something I would consider for this tank. Looking for something uncommon and interesting, and Tarpon just aren't it. Nothing special or interesting about an overgrown herring.I know nothing about the Indo-Pacific Tarpon, but would they work?
