I have a breeding pair of blue acara and the female recently developed this weird white stuff on her lips.

Looks like it got a fungal infection after injury.

i was afraid of that, my tetra's ate the last batch of acara fry and the male was pissed and I think he was beating on her. he has a few minor abrasions as well. water parameters are really good, temp is about 74-75 and I have been dosing with paraguard. Anything else I should do?

Can the mouth open and close? Is it able to eat? Could be fungus or the bigger prob of columnaris. I’d dose some api fungus cure and keep a close eye.

That definitely looks like an injury from fighting. Have you seen them kissing? Yeaaaaah....Even though that's what kissing gouramis are known for...It's not kissing, it's trying to rip each other's face off.

Agree.
Fungal infections are common after jaw locking during courtship rituals, or territorial battles.
You can see it on the male Rocio on the right, after many battles to maintain territory, access to breeding females, and alpha status, the shot was taken in nature, in a Cenote in Mexico.

It becomes problematic when these fungal infections allow bacteria (like Columnaris) a pathway to more lethal infections
