Aren't they in the same tank together now?I’ll keep them together until they have a battle to the death and I split it up
Not yet. I have the flowerhorn in a 20 gallon tote by my bed and the black belt in the 40 by my bed. Ok Friday I’ll be moving flowerhorn to the 40g and hope the blackbelt don’t rip up the 1.5” flowerhornAren't they in the same tank together now?
I might hold onto the black belt a little longer yea not entirely sure storm thinking about itI saw on the other thread that you are keeping the fh against the vieja.
Doing so ?
Why not try this idea fromi would keep the black belt in the 75 with some good catfish , and would keep the flowerhorn in the 40 breeder, cause its rare now that flowerhorns get to 12" as they used to get before, dont know about the US but here in INDIA flowerhorns tend to get stuck at that 7"- 9" mark .
I’ll consider it. That sounds most likely of what I’ll do thoughWhy not try this idea from..puSkar.. I agree with this. This way you get to keep both fish in their own tank. Sounds like a good plan to me. I doubt the FH would outgrow the 40g, if it did (I doubt it) it would take quite a long time. Putting them together in the same tank is soon to be a death sentence for one of them. Just an idea so you can keep both fish.
