Meet my new(ish) flowerhorn. daisy. I bought her or him still not sure as just “Flowerhorn” I don’t know what type of flowerhorn but she (ok assuming girl) is definitely a special fish ?. I’ve had her since about 1” and she had almost no color at all she had stress colors 24/7 even when she was at the fish store she had stress colors. Here’s a few pictures From when I first got her.2DD24FDB-9253-4968-B704-04FB87149E5A.png

Daisy has colored up amazingly. I saw a flowerhorn of the opposite sea at a store the other day and it was black like a jack Dempsey but had marking the colors of a high grade red dragon FH. Didn’t buy it but thinking of going back sometime soon to buy it and grow out and recto pair it up with daisy. Not sure because I don’t really have space for that long term but could definitely work on something. Getting rid of the red devil also. Sorry for the dirty tank I’ve been in a bit of a pickle lately 19B66D6E-316A-43DE-9557-174D75984394.jpeg3532AE0A-5859-4015-923D-DDAF502C8CEB.jpegimage.jpg

I see alot of trimac in that fish. Its going to be a beast!
The amount of trimac in it is one thing I’m most excited for when he gets bigger. Trimacs are by far one of my favorite cichlids and would love for a flowerhorn trimac with the trimac overpowering the other partners genetics

Rtc/tsn Rtc/tsn Well... It is still a flowerhorn so when its full grown the amount of recognizable cichlid traits will not be very high.
I plan on keeping this fish until it dies of age. I’m sure over the next couple years I’ll get a lot of goof times with this fish. Still so young though. You never know nowadays

Your flowerhorn is turning out nicely. I would just stick with this fish and focus on providing it with the best care you can give.
