It shows. Nip it in the butt and just get the waterchange over with. The care you put into a fish will reflect in it's coloration, behavior, body shape, and how the fish carries itself. If you want the best for daisy then give him the best. Don't slack on waterchanges.

I actually get excited when he bites me. Idk why I just think it’s cool lol. Hurts a good bit but still cool. I think he goes for my fingernails cause I have short nails so he always manages to get under the nail just enough for it to sting for a good minute
I was already working on the wc before you posted this reply, I’m almost done, about 60% refilled and all this moving around isn’t doing anything good for my headache and already churning stomach but it’s for the fish so screw it lol
If you can convince my mom that’s it’s worth it then I’m all in lol. I been tryna get one for weeks now but my mom says that using the bucket is just as good, I don’t think she realizes how much I do and what this fish actually means to me. Tomorrow I’ll be looking for a tubing that at least reaches out my window so that way I can siphons it all outside and only have to carry the bucket back and forth while refilling the tank.
