Sorry lol my phone died and it apparently posted that partial section. So yea, male vieja bred with female blood parrot. He gave me 4. 3 males and one that is a female. The males are larger more like the vieja melanura with different color variants. I have a female red dragon flowerhorn that I want to breed them to. I'm looking for opinions on the best looking male. One is larger than the rest, more vieja like. Another is a little smaller, more colorful with pearls and the other male is half black and half orange. Here are the pics. I'm an idiot...

Yeah, that's the one with the pearls. From what I have been researching, the blood parrot and the vieja were used at some point in the creation of the flowerhorn. I was told that I could have a chance of producing classic kamfa with these. 2 questions now remain. 1, is this true? And 2, do you think it's worth the time and effort ( I have nothing better to do anyways) or would they be invaluable?
Thank you.

Who cares if they’re of any value or not. They’re living creatures, don’t exploit them for money. ( not saying you are) the money from selling them is just a bonus ontop of the experience you learned. I think that these should produce a classic kamfa but not entirely sure. If you have nothing better to do then why not go for it.

You are absolutely correct. No I'm not doing it for the money, it is a hobby. I am doing this for the experience as all fish do a different dance. I have a red top hongi pair in there with the vieja parrots. They are mouth brooding cichlids and are amazing. I also have a black samurai betta in a breeder tank. He just blew his bubble nest and he gets to meet candy tomorrow. My concern over the value is not dollar signs as much as it is whether or not I will be frowned upon for hybridizing. They get a bad rap. I also do not want to get stuck with a bunch of fish that people see as monstrosities and have to end up culling beautiful fish. So... how good is the market on this type of deal? Here is the female vieja parrot.

After culling, unwanted fry can probably be relinquished or donated to any pet store. Sorry for the slow response, I’m cleaning my room
