My sense of smell might be returning, don't know if that's good or bad yet 
Things are improving in California. There are now some counties with low rates of transmission. Unfortunately, my county still has the highest case rate/100,000 in California for the last 7 days. But only 3 people died in the last three days, and there are only 10 in the hospital - lowest number since early August. There were only 72 new cases the last three days (no reporting over the weekend, so Monday afternoons number is for 3 days) - so that is also a downward trend.
Unfortunately the numbers in our city are the highest they have been, since the beginning of covid.
The provincial ICU rates are the highest they have ever been as well.

When it comes to my personal life at this point, i have already had the virus and i will not be getting the vaccine. Not only is there an already small risk of side effects from it, but there is a higher risk of side effects among those who have already an infection. So, i would be adding risk to my health for no reason whatsoever.
The fact that those in power are trying to force people who have already been infected to get the vaccine, knowing that they are at lower risk than people who have had the vaccine and that they are at a higher risk of side effects which would then need to be treated at a time when health care resources are spread thin, really boggles the mind. You can get antibody tests at most grocery stores around me. I can think of no reason for this policy other than that they do not actually care about the health of the public and are only using this as an excuse to increase the profits of the vaccine manufacturers. It makes no sense to me otherwise.

Agree with this. Itd be great if everyone educated themselves a bit on viruses and vaccines, healthcare in general before diagnosing, prescribing, criticizing, or judging. I'm currently on several unofficial contact bans from groups of family and so called friends due to my dissenting opinions. Currently waiting nervously for my employer to issue some kind of vaccine mandate. Odd that I'm not actually afraid of the virus, but rather that I'll lose my job, house, family, and of course fish because I dont want a forced, ineffective vaccine.
